The relevant times are : 11-30am today, meet at the Quad, Victoria University; procedd to Indonesian Embassy, Glen Road, Kelburn (approx. time of arrival 12 noon).

Dear Friends,

Some of you may know me but for those of you that don't my name is Rowena Tun and I am writing from the human rights action group from Victoria University.

We are organising a protest for Thursday 21st May to express our anger at the killing of Indonesian students by the military. I believe that the recent killings and human rights abuses will worsen without international condemnation.

There will be a rally at 11.30am in the Quad at the university folowed by a protest at the Indonesian embassy (just 5 mins walk).

We will be getting students to sign a large letter in the quad on the three days before the protest to be presented to the Indonesian Ambassador to NZ.

On May 20 in Jakarta where around 40 campus will join together for a national protest.
